Self Evaluation

The self evaluation process is  key  to school improvement.  As a school we need to know where we are, where we want to go and how we will get there.  In order to ascertain where we are we are constantly evaluating our own practice, looking at what is going well and identifying what could be done better.   We also use information provided by the government,  local authority, parents and other agencies help us to do this. 

Staff, children and parents have contributed to composing a Curriculum Rationale for our school.  This underpins everything we do in St Machan's and is used to help us with the self evaluation process.  You can read this by clicking on the relevant link below.
