St Machan's Fun Day
St Machan's Day fell on a Saturday this year so we celebrated on Thursday 26th September instead in school with a day of fun. We began our day with an assembly led by Mrs Irving about the life of our Patron Saint and sang our Hymn to St Machan. At this assembly our first 'Achievers' of the year were presented with their well earned golden achievers badges. Each class then were timetabled to do their sponsored run around the school. £1396.75 was raised for school funds so a huge thank you to everyone who sponsored a child. In the afternoon the children did fun activities in class and everyone had a great time.
