Cofucius Classroom

The P7s performed a Mandarin song at St Ninian's High on Friday 31st January as part of a concert to celebrate Chinese New Year.  The concert was a wonderful celebration of Chinese culture and saw children from various primary schools singing and dancing in the Chinese tradition.  The concert opened with a dragon dance and highlights included a tea making ceremony performed by high school pupils and beautiful Chinese flute playing.  The P7s received a six week Mandarin block of lessons as part of the transition process and will have the chance to study the language further when they go to St Ninian's High
